PEAC Looks at Degrees, Spring Grad The newly-created President’s Educational Advisory Council held its first meeting Jan. 7 under the direction of Penny Connell, acting chair. Under its mandate, members will review and advise the President on College issues from a comprehensive perspective. To document its work, the committee will develop a Policies and Practices Manual, and a second manual concerning major issues decided by the committee. So that a variety of people may serve on this committee, it was decided that voting membership would rotate—half of current members will serve until May 1994, and the rest will remain on the committee until May 1995. Terms served consecutively will be restricted to two. It is important to PEAC that its decisions reach the College community and accordingly, a monthly overview will be published in the Informer and Thinking Cap. In addition, minutes will be posted on central bulletin boards and distributed to all administrators, depart- ment coordinators, PEAC and EPCC (Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee) members, the corresponding secretaries for the CCFA and OTEU, and the college relations coordinator for the Student Union.
