They will also get a good look at the College. This will happen when Cap opens its doors to the 1994 North Shore Career Expo on March 1. The entire expo comprises events at various North Shore locations from Feb. 28 to March 10. The day at Cap features guided campus tours, exhibits by various College areas and a presentation by Dave Street. Street, an expert on the job market of the future, is known for his lively, youth-oriented style. Grant is doing an internship through a collaboration between Capilano College and the Community Living Society. has spoken to more than 200,000 young students across Canada about preparing for the changing labor market. His presentation at Cap, to be held at the Sportsplex, will focus on workplace realities and the skills that the labor mar- ket will demand of these students. The Public Relations Depart- ment was involved in developing the 1994 North Shore Career Expo with the North Vancouver School District, West Vancouver School District, North Shore Continuing Education, North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, Federal Business Development Bank, Human Resources and Labour Canada, and the North Shore News. The College is involved in the following Career Expo events: * Monday, Feb. 28 - Post-second- ary Training Information Night at Sentinel Secondary, 7 - 9 p.m. * Tuesday, March 1 - Capilano College hosts North Shore Grade 10 students. Activities include the Dave Street presentation, breakout sessions and campus tours. 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. * Wednesday, March 2 - A panel discussion and a talk by Dr. John Walsh, another labor market expert, at the Lucas Centre, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. * Thursday, March 10 - 1994 North Shore Career Fair at Sutherland Secondary, includ- ing seminars for parents and students. The fair runs 2 - 7 p-m.; seminars run 7 - 9 p.m.
