Workshop on novel writing Do you dream of writing a novel? Many people do, but are dismayed because it seems to be too huge a job. Not according to Crawford Kilian. Kilian Is teaching a one-day Extension workshop this fall called ''The One Hour a Day Novel'', which will explain how an investment of an hour a day should produce a completed novel in a year or less. The workshop will be held Saturday, October 13 from 9:30 to 4:30 and participants will spend much of the day dealing with the-craft of writing: plotting, characterization, dialogue, scene construction, narrative techniques, and suitable style.
