Used college textbooks will be on sale in
the Student Union office between 11 and 3
this week (Sept. 13). If you want to sell
books, take them to the office by Tuesday;
if you want more information on buying
them call the office at local 347.

WRC workshops

Some of the workshops and _ courses being
sponsored by the Women's Resource Centre
this fall are: Strategies for Confidence
Building, Wen-Do (Women's Self Defense),
Career Crossroads, and Teaching Sexuality
to your School-Age Children. These are all

Also of interest are the Drop-In Services
which will be held this fall -- the Drop-In
Legal Service will be from 4 to 6:30 pm on

Clark elected Vice Chair

Retail Merchandising instructor Hilary
Clark has been elected Vice Chairman of
the new Lions Gate Hospital board of dir-
ectors following the board elections Sept.
1. Clark was elected to the board last
year. ''Though a completely Pro-Choice

slated was elected to the board of dir-
ectors on Sept. 1, the margin between Pro-
Choice and Pro-Life is becoming slimmer,"'
said Clark. ''Memberships are available

now to those of us’ in the College commun-
ity who wish to help retain our democratic
choice of control over our own bodies.'"'
