Natural Sciences Division presents original Rennie watercolour Paul Gallagher is the lucky owner of this original Bob Rennie painting, which was presented to him by the Natural Sciences Division at their annual Science evening in March. The watercolour is a thank you gift on the occasion of his leaving the College. Although Rennie only started painting as a hobby when he was working on his Math PhD, it has developed into quite a sideline. One of his paintings hangs in Ceramics for sight, sale For the first time staff and students will have an opportunity to take a close look at the work of our pottery students—and even buy it. The Art department is holding a Ceramics Sale and Exhibit on Wednesday and Thursday, April 10-11 in the Lounge at which first and second year students will be showing their work. Ministry Press Release NEW TELEPHONE SYSTEM FOR CAPILANO COLLEGE Funds totalling $120,000 have been approved for a new telephone system to be installed at Capilano College in North Vancouver. The announcement was made today by Jack Davis, MLA for North Vancouver - Seymour. In approving for the funds, Education Minister Jack Heinrich said, ''The system is being installed as a result of cooperation and cost sharing between the college and the province."
