Coat Cooke teaches four workshops exploring improvisation.
For all instruments. These workshops are applicable to all styles.

November Sunday evenings: 6, 13, 20, 27
6 - 8:00 pm $80 for all 4 sessions
Limited to 15 participants. Ages 14 - adult
Participants should have at least 3 years playing experience.

Coat Cooke is an improvisor / composer and
multi-instrumentalist
performer, recording
artist and teacher who has been providing
and teaching improvising workshops to
Vancouver for over 15 years.
Coat has over forty years of performing
experience and has performed at major
festivals in Europe, the USA, Mexico and
Canada with his groups the NOW Orchestra
and the Coat Cooke Trio.
He has performed
with well known
improvising greats: Marilyn Crispell, Wadada
Leo Smith, Butch Morris, Amina Claudine
Myers, George E. Lewis, and many more.
