A few weeks ago we bid farewell to the Tum The Air Blue jazz series at the Hot Jazz Club, which bit it because of a lack of audience sup• port. Now we have a similar reason for parting with the Vancouver Press Club's Tuesday Night JazzSeries.I heard some amazing music on those Tuesdays these last two months, and made some new friends I look forward to seeing in other situ• ations hopefully more successful. A huge thankyou to Coat Cooke of the New OrchestraWorkshop (NOW) - look for him/them at this year's jazz fest - for his support, knowledge and spirit in putting the night together. Also thanks to all who attended and offered their enthusiasm. In a strange twist of fate, the last show of the series is on May 26 with the BradMuirheadQuintet, led by the man who brought together the aforementioned Tum The Air Blue Series. Thank-you.
