Bob has been painting for years— since about 1964 when he was working on his PhD to be more exact — and this fall he is having a showing of his work at the North Van. Civic Centre. Although he started work- ing in oils, Bob has been using watercolours pretty well exclusively for the last two years, and_ the exhibit will consist of about 30 watercolours of marine and rural scenes in B.C. Donors thanked for. bursary $$s A very successful reception took place the evening of Tuesday, October 26 in the new lounge in H building, and it's well it went successfully for the occasion was in honour of the people and organizations that donate money to the college for stu- dent bursaries and scholarships. In a small stroke of genius, the lounge was decorated with paintings and sculptures by students and instructors in the Art de- partment. Of course there was also wine and food on hand and speeches by Paul Gallagher and Financial Aid Officer Connie Gibbs.
