And the program for the fall continues ex- cellent with such old and new favourites as Casablanca, Blazing Saddles, My Brill- iant Career and Deer Hunter. Admission is $1 for students, $2 for everyone else and films start at 7:30 pm. CE registration runs rampant Credit registrations aren't the only thing to have risen this fall. Last weekend's credit free registration session at Park Royal saw registrations double from about 300 last year to approximately 600. ''It was great--very worthwhile’ said a pleased but tired Joy Smith. Six learn instructional skills From August 23rd to 27th, six instructors taught their way through the exciting, but exhausting third session of the Instruc- tional Skills Workshop. The six were: Shirley Brown, B.T.S.D. in Squamish, Terry Berrington, Business Management, Merv Campone, TV writer of Beachcombers who is teaching a C.E. course on TV Writing this fall, Tony Carter, Business Manage- ment, Donna Gaulin, Homemaker program at Sechelt, and Gary Hudson, Business Manage- ment. After the first introductory day each participant prepared and taught a 10 minute video-taped mini-lesson, which was then discussed by all. Hilary Clark, who ran the workshop, reports that enthusiasm ran high and it was often difficult to stop the discussion of one ''teacher's'' les- son to get on to the next. "All were im- pressed with the changes they saw in themselves and their classmates.'' ~ ~, ~~ Fall fitness happenings The ever popular aerobic exercise classes at noon will be continuing at the Fitness Centre this fall.
