Tour tailored for jazz lovers The Montreux International Jazz Festival is the most acclaimed jazz showcase in the world. African, Brazilian, Japanese, Eur- opean and American stars have been travel- ling to Switzerland for the last fifteen years to participate in this summer event, and if you are interested in taking it in you might consider the Cap College Copen- hagen-Montreux Tour from July 7 to 28. The first four days of this trip will be spent in Copenhagen visiting their jazz scene which has quite a reputation in Europe. As well as a July Jazz Festival they have 20 jazz clubs downtown. Then it's on to Swit- zerland for 2 weeks at Montreux. The last two days of the trip will be spent in Gen- eva before flying back to Vancouver. The tour will be accompanied by Cap instructor and jazz vocalist Shannon Gunn. The cost, including accommodation, pre-tour instruc- tion and soon will be $2,780 Cdn.
