Grant benefits students, c o l l e g e • Capilano College was granted $25,000 by the Department of Education for the hiring of students during the summer. The grant was part of the $1 million for summer employment of students throughout the province. Capilano College used the money to hire the students to help with summer projects at the College. Most of these tasks related to the College's move to . its new Lynnmour campus, and some of the help was utilized on landscaping and beautification work on the grounds. A number of students were w o r k i n g w i t h the College's Media Centre in organizing materials, some worked for Student Services, some manned an i n f o r m a t i o o n booth that travelled to the various shopping centres in the district, and others worked in preparation of Career Programs and in the iCollege's general offices.
