Ex-trustee named te Cap College board Former North Vancouver school trustee, David W. Craig, an executive with B.C. Hydro, has been appointed to the board of Capilano College for a 15month term. Education Minister Brian Smith has announced. Craig, 33, bom in Boston, Massachusetts, and received his early education in British Columbia. He graduates from the University of Toronto in 1970 with a degree of Bachelor of A p p l i e d Sciences in Industrial Engineering. •Craig returned to British Columbia to become a chartered accountant with the firm of Clarkson, Gordon and Company and was accredited in 1974. He was senior staff auditor with Oarkson, Gordon until he joined B.C. Hydro as a systems analyst. He became supervisor of systems development before taking up his present position as executive assistant to the executive vice-president. Craig served two years (1978-dO) as a school trustee in School EHstrict No. 44, North Vancouver, and was recreation commissioner for one year. He is a director of Chesterfield House, a child abuse prevention program in North Vancouver. He is married and has two children. page A - 1 6
