Michael, who died in 1988, was an Outdoor Recreation student at Capilano College. Income from the endowment will be used to provide one or more bursaries each year. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in Outdoor Recreation Management or the Environmental Sciences Diploma Program. Stu- dents must have a satisfactory academic standing and require financial assistance. Priority will be given to students who demonstrate leadership in outdoor recrea- tion and initiative in problem solving for environmental issues related to B.C. waterways and forests.
