And little lambs eat ivy It’s springtime at the North Vancouver campus and this means a visit by members of Bill McCallion’s extended family from his Mission farm. Bill has worked in the Facilities department at the College since 1985. For many of these years he has graciously brought smiles to the faces of the children in the Child Care Centre by bringing some of his beloved animals to the College for a day. This year, Precious the sheep came with two of her six-week-old lambs. There were also two shy white geese, which preferred the shady side of the Centre, and two large rust-coloured hens, which at ages 10 and 12 were looking healthy and spry. Bill said that one of them “still manages to give up an egg every couple of weeks.” Whispers about the campus carry the message that Bill may retire at the end of this year. We'd like him to know that he will be dearly missed. Full story online Who dunnit?
