“We offer an encompassing look at

careers and cover all aspects of life,
so that our students can be happy
and fulfilled in their jobs. The
program’s 13 participants are from
the Squamish area and have diverse
backgrounds and interests. We teach
them portable skills so that they can
pursue employment opportunities
either in the Howe Sound Corridor
or elsewhere. My sense, though, is
that they want to stay here and use
their expertise.”
