Employee recognition Approximately 50 people attended this year’s employee recognition event, held at Capilano on May 17 and hosted by HR Services. Recognized for Outstanding College Service was Dave Callow, who 20 years joined Capilano in 1980; Michael Frankowski, who joined in 1997 and recently left to pursue a new job opportunity; Christina Moghrabi, who joined in 1997 and who also left recently; and, Joe Iacobellis, who joined in 1977 in the Athletics department as an instructor and coach and who has been the manager of Athletics and Recreation since 1991. This major undertaking, in the works for many years, is a_ collaboration among Douglas College, Langara College, Vancouver Community College and Capilano.
