Capilano College Women’s Soccer Coach Named “Coach of the Year” Frank Pupp, coach of the Capilano College Blues Women’s Soccer Team, has been named “Coach of the Year” by the British Columbia College’s Athletic Association. Frank’s coaching background is extensive and distinguished. A North Shore resident, Frank began as a coach 20 years ago, coaching girls soccer in the North Shore Minor Soccer Association. During that time, no team coached by Frank failed to make the playoffs. Five years ago when women’s soccer was established as a competitive league sport at the college level, Frank made the move to college ranks. True to tradition, every Blues team Frank coached reached the playoffs, with two of his teams winning provincial championships. His string of successful seasons remains unbroken. This year the Blues have advanced to the finals of the Provincial Championships for the second consecutive year. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 24 at BCIT. | Dealing With Sexual Harassment Is flirtation sexual harassment? Who gets harassed and who harasses?
