EVE RYTHING 1974 performance This tape becomes the score for further at the Cab at the Rites o f g le e NEW ERA MARATHON Taki Bluesinger Beginning at Vancouver City Hall, and cheered on by a team of sports from the local art microcosm, Taki Bluesinger runs 15 kilometers fast forward to the Burnaby Art Gallery. The documentation on videotape is the first travelogue of Metric Vancouver. Taki Bluesinger, once a champion high school marathon runner in Japan, conceived this piece to show the way to the Burnaby Art Gallery. it also shows a way through to art. New Era Marathon will stand as a major sculptural work created in the space of this city.
