THE INFORMER PAGE 5 MARCH 31, 1992 Jazz Festival Marks Program’s First Year The new Bachelor of Jazz Studies Program celebrates the completion of its first year with the first Capilano College Jazz Festival. The event takes place at 8 p.m., Thursday, April 16, at the Centennial Theatre, 2300 Lonsdale, North Vancouver. This exciting concert will by hosted by musician/actor Miles Ramsay and will showcase special guests, Zebra Records recording artists Skywalk. Rounding out this entertaining evening will be the award-winning sounds of the Capilano College Jazz Orchestra, the Nite Cap Vocal Jazz Ensemble and other superb jazz soloists and ensembles. Tickets are $12.50 and are available through the Centennial Theatre Box Office, noon - 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, or by phone at 984-4484. All proceeds from the concert will go to the College’s Jazz Studies Program Scholarship Fund.
