Using multiple depictions of his own image, Lee creates a series of enclosed conversational loops based on his interest in systems of communication, and a process of reintroducting certain historical forms to a contemporary practice. The Western Front and Centre A join forces to present the collaboration of two of Vancouver·s leading contemporary Asian Artists. An electric and enigmatic glass installation by Japanese glass artist Miyuki Shinkai serves as the setting for a solo dance performance by acclaimed choreographer and dancer Alvin Erasga Tolentino. Breaking boundaries through experimentation, the two artists stretch their vision and join forces to create this unique work of art that pays homage to the undying memories of their past and present heritage and generations. Minori delivers an original visual and physical expression, fresh to the senses and close to the heart. Made possible by the generous support of Anndraya T.
