Chinese students complete program Life in North Vancouver is "very quiet" according to Chinese Business Management students Luo Qi and Zong Gang who have been studying here since July. After life in Shengdu (population approx. 9 million) which is in Szechuan province (about the size of B.C., population 100 million), Cap College is quite a change of pace. But Tiving in Canada wasn't quite the culture shock for the two students that one might expect. Not only to Luo Qi and Zong Gang both have degrees in English Language and Literature, but they have been acting as interpreters for Canadian faculty members for the last two years at the Canada-China Enterprise Management Training Institute operated jointly by the Chinese government and ACCC in Shengdu. The fund- raiser is in support of second year Legal Assistant student Karen Wishneski who was left a quadriplegic after an accident in January, and money raised will go tomedical rehabilitation costs. There will be hot air ballooning, a dunk tank, theatre: sports, a beer garden and a BBQ.
