opp White chairs Recreation Council Brian White has become the Chairman of the Outdoor Recreation Council of B.C., an umbrella organization that coordinates action on conservation and recreation issues and supervises projects and research on the same. White had been Vice Chairman and took over the Chair when the previous Chairman resigned. "This is a really big organization," said White. Over 50 groups, some of which are umbrella organizations themselves, are represented on the Outdoor Recreation Council, including the Sierra Club, the National and Provincial Parks Association, and the Federation of Mountain Clubs. FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Skeleton, Muscle Study, Skeleton, Dave Lackmanet, Linda Matsui, and Art instructor David Marshall. The skeletal types were the handiwork of the Foundations students in Marshall's anatomy class, who also added dialogue to their creations when putting them up in the hall in A building. Dave Lackmanet and Linda Matsui actually have nothing to do with all this—they are second year Commercial Art students. Right now in the halls of A building (2nd and 3rd floors) the skeletons have been stripped (pun?) and replaced by a variety of works by printmaking and painting students—take the portunity to see their work before Christmas.
