Labour Studies gets grant

our photogenic principal. Instead of
handing out a cheque here, Paul Gallagher
was taking one from North Van. MP Chuck
Cook. The cheque for $9,000 is from
Multiculturalism Canada to fund a Labour
Studies project entitled '"'Race and Ethnic
Relations in the Workplace.'' The total
grant will be $19,400 and the project will
consist of four manuals for unfon
workplace trainers, and workshops on how
to use the manuals effectively. The topics
covered in the manuals will include the
multi-ethnic and multicultural nature of

Music concert Tuesday

This Is your last chance for tickets to
the Music Department's December Concert at
the North Van. Centennial Theatre. The
concert is Tuesday, December 4 at 8 pm and
tickets are on sale in the Music dept. or
at the door for $4 ($2 for students and
seniors). The Cap College choir will be
performing pieces by Bach, as well as a
couple of old pop tunes, and the orchestra
will be playing selections by Mendelsohn,
