drums. I've never heard a Van­
couver group work with such
power. Their creative roots are
in Trane, Cecil Taylor, Jimmy
Garrison , and Art Blakey, but
their expression is their own.
The crowd was frothing at the
mouth, yelling and whistling
and stomoing as they ended.
