WALKING THE RAMP Eva Hall reports that getting a makeover is a mixed experience. Eva was given the full treatment recently at the Meridien Hotel by Compliment Fashions in front of a room full of expensively coiffed, fur-coated women. She had to walk a ramp wearing old clothes and no make-up. “It was like walking the plank,” said Eva. “I looked terrible, but people clapped when they were told I had lost 30 pounds.” After a half-hour overhaul, Eva walked again. This time it was different. "People were whistling and taking snapshots, and they came up to me after and asked where I had lost the weight.” The answer to that question is the clinic in North Van. “Honesty” available here Limited edition reproductions of above-titled watercolour by instructor Kiff Holland will be available to College employees and students.
