The disk includes a program description, two videos, the booklet Accessing Asia and copies of the APMCP newsletter, Asia Link. “While much of the material on the disk is promotional,” says APMCP director, Scott MacLeod, “it was developed as part of a larger effort to link CD-ROM and Web-based technologies for pedagogic purposes.” The project was a joint effort from members of the APMCP, the Educational Technology Resource Centre and Media Production Services. Ed Tech’s Ken Barbour led the team as production manager and CD-ROM designer, while Teresa McDowell designed the cover packaging. Many of the publications on the disk were designed by MPS designer, Jana Hotkova. The videos were produced by Film Studies instructor, Cam Williams. “We found the collaboration to be an excellent experience,” Scott said, and we hope the disk is enjoyed by those who view it.” For more information, call 984-4981, or local 4981. aZzZ notes are on sale in the bookstore.
