The happy looking lady on the right is Mrs. Irvine of West Vancouver, and she has good reason to be elated as she is being presented with a Radio Shack TRS 80 Colour Computer by Paul Gallagher. Mrs. Irvine entered a computer contest sponsored by the Knowledge Network and run through Extension Programs and Services, and her name was drawn in February. The computer will be put to good use by her and her son. Tea Talk Tuesday The last scheduled ''Tea Talk from the Trade" will be by Jean McElvie, Fashion Coordinator and magazine editor on Tuesday March 26 at noon in room A215. Everyone is welcome—bring your lunch, and they will provide tea and cookies. River. Rafting course in April Does river rafting turn your crank? Then you should probably consider the Basic River Rafting course being offered through Extension Programs and Services in April. Classroom instruction and a day-long field trip on white water will both be included in the course to be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings April 16, 18, 23, and 25, and Saturday April 27. In class lectures illustrated with slides and film will show students what happens on the water, paddling, rowing, motor rigs, temporary raft repairs, and safety regulations. The field trip will be to either the Thompson or Elaho River depending on weather conditions. Dana Laford will be the instructor, and the fee is $100. For more information call 321.
