Sports awards evening honoured
athletic and academic achievements

North Vancouver’s Cheers generous benefactors were on hand to

students and athletes were recipients. Awards were presented to

acknowledged at the College’s annual athletes for women’s and men’s soccer,
athletics awards banquet. Simon Fraser women’s and men’s basketball,
University basketball coach, Allison badminton and women’s volleyball.

The Graham Coates memorial soccer scholarship was
presented to women’s soccer player, Lyndsay Irwin (above left),
and men’s soccer player, Bevan Footman (missing from photo),
Female athlete of the year, Cara by Barbara and Stuart Coates.

Valli (above left), was also
honoured as CCAA All-Canadian
and received BCAA All-Conference
honours for soccer. Beside her is
male athlete of the year, soccer
player and All-Star, Jeff Yoon.
