THE INFORMER PAGE 3 MARCH 31, 1992 International Women's Day Covers the Spectrum Starting with a breakfast on Tues., March 3 and ending with a standing room only lecture on women’s economics by Dr. Marjorie Cohen on March 5, Capilano College marked Interna- tional Women’s Day (March 8) with a variety of interesting, in- formative events. Judi Fletcher (PR), Sharon Feyer (Films), and Barb Robertson (Registrar's Office) enjoyed breakfast and even smiled (at such an early hour!) Heather Laing, the College’s first Sexual Harassment Policy Advisor, introduced herself at breakfast. Graham Forst captured his audience with a lecture on Ibsen’s women. ABOVE: The Women’s Issues Committee (Students’ Union) welcomed administrators to the re-opening of the Women’s Centre in L202's temporary space. Thanks to the Committee’s work the room was furnished and ready for the March 4 open house. The Centre is available for women for meetings, quiet study, workshops, and events. Contact the Student Union, N Building for access information. The Centre will have a permanent space in the renovated B Building.
