SS prints newsletter

The Student Society has just put out a
six page newsletter containing general
information on the SS, how it operates,
and introducing the current executive and
staff. The publication, entitled "A
universe of opportunities" is available
from the SS office.

Bookswap on

The Student Society Bookswap continues to

January 23 in R building from 9:30 am to

5:30 pm (9:30-2:30 on Fridays). This is an

opportunity for students to save a little

money on new books, or make a bit back
from their old ones.

offering three sections of Painting (in
June, July and August) and two sections of
French language (in June and July).

Finally, if you are fascinated by the
ancient world and enjoy dabbling or doing
serious painting in watercolours, think
about the Watercolour Painting Cruises to
the Eastern Mediterranean. The cruises are
on board British Hellenic cruise ships
which have an impressive slate of
distinguished faculty members in various
disciplines including, this summer, Cap's
own David Maclagan, Art instructor, and
Harry Heine, internationally known
watercolourist. The cruises are from May
12 to 27 and May 27 to June 10 and I'm not
even going to start on the itineraries—
look it up yourself in the Extension
programs brochure and start slavering with
desire. (drip, drip, drip, *sigh*)

So where was I? Oh yes, if you want more
information on educational travel, you

intros are free and open to anyone
interested, whether they intend to take
the program or not.
