Grad. enthusiasm not. dampened In spite of threatening clouds and rain showers later in the day, graduates at Cap's 1986 graduation ceremonies managed to get their degrees without moist mishap. Everything ran on time, with the main ceremonies on the college green containing themselves to a half hour, and other departmental events running to schedule. This year's Valedictorian was Academic student Sue P. Laver, and a musical background to the ensuing garden party was provided by our own Music students. A good crowd stayed around for an hour or two to dispose of the plentiful and well prepared CONTINUED ... Library under reconstruction If you were planning on taking out any books or magazines from our library, you had better hurry. As of June 9 the circulation desk will be closed for about ten days for a major reorganization. Although the college had hoped not to have to put inahigh security system for books, recent losses have made it necessary, so the library will be moving the cirulcation desk and installing a new system similar to those at SFU and UBC. capilano college
