The purpose of the research and inquiry is to think with the question of "what does it mean to live well with the Other within the local community?". Highlighting the importance of context, our inquiry is focused on the birds that visit our childcare space with particular attention to movement. Making visible our journey and learning process, we rely on drawing as our medium. Engaging within the reconceptualist theoretical frameworks of common wording and place as a pedagogical practice, I anticipate to understand more of the interconnections between the human and more than human, while also thinking in relation to movement. The Significance of this inquiry is us to inspire to have a deeper, more intimate relationship with the more than human that co-exist in the world with us.
